Day 1: Fly into Seattle, Washington

Depart from your home airport and arrive in Seattle, Washington, where your Pacific Northwest and Canadian Rockies adventure begins. After settling into your hotel, meet your fellow travelers and Tour Director for a welcome dinner—your first chance to connect before the journey ahead.

Day 2: Victoria, Vancouver Island

This morning travel to Port Angeles, where we board a scenic ferry across the Strait of Juan de Fuca (keep an eye out for whales!) en route to Victoria, British Columbia.

Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of this charming coastal city, including highlights such as the Inner Harbour and Parliament Buildings. Settle into your hotel in the heart of Victoria for a two-night stay.

Day 3: Butchart Gardens & Vancouver

Today we visit the world-renowned Butchart Gardens, a stunning showcase of vibrant floral displays and beautifully landscaped grounds. Take your time wandering through the gardens before enjoying an included lunch in this picturesque setting.

Day 4: Rocky Mountaineer Journey to Kamloops

Depart Vancouver this morning on the Rocky Mountaineer in GoldLeaf class. You will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like environment of the BC Interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Breakfast & lunch included onboard.

Day 5: Arrival to Banff

Travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer from Kamloops to the mountain town of Banff. Enjoy the spectacular array of scenery as you travel between the glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels. Today’s highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass, and Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven.

Day 6: Icefields Parkway & Banff

Travel along the world-famous Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic drives in North America. Stop at the Columbia Icefield for an unforgettable experience on Athabasca Glacier, where you can step out and touch ancient ice. Continue through awe-inspiring scenery as we make our way to Banff. Make a stop at Lake Louise, often called the “Jewel of the Rockies,” with its turquoise waters and stunning mountain backdrop.
