Day 1: Fly Into Denver

Arrive in the Mile High City and meet your Tour Director at baggage claim. Get acquainted with the city and transfer to your hotel to enjoy a warm welcome dinner with fellow travelers and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Ride the California Zephyr to Moab

Board the legendary California Zephyr Amtrak Train*, one of the most scenic train routes in North America. Watch the landscapes transform as you ride across the Colorado Rockies and into the red rock country of Utah. Disembark in Grand Junction and transfer by motorcoach to Moab.
*In the event of significant delays, a motorcoach transfer may be provided as an alternative.

Day 3: Arches National Park & Colorado River Scenic Cruise

Day 5: Bryce Canyon National Park

Travel along the jaw-dropping Scenic Highway 12 and across the Hogback in Grand Staircase-Escalante. Have lunch in Bryce City, then head into the iconic Bryce Canyon National Park to marvel at its whimsical hoodoos and spires. End your day in the Western town of Kanab.

Day 6: Zion National Park

Day 7: Lake Powell & Grand Canyon

Depart this morning for Page and enjoy a boat tour of Lake Powell and the Glen Canyon Dam (tour subject to weather conditions). After lunch near the lake, continue south to the historic Cameron Trading Post, known for authentic Native-American crafts. Arrive at the awe-inspiring Desert View Watchtower before continuing to our hotel in Grand Canyon Village, just steps away from the rim of the Grand Canyon.

Day 8: Grand Canyon National Park by Historic Train

Spend the day exploring the south rim of the Grand Canyon. This afternoon, board a vintage railcar to Williams, AZ. This evening, travel the winding roads of Oak Creek Canyon into mystical Sedona for two nights.

Day 9: Verde Canyon Railroad

This morning, travel to the ghost town of Jerome to browse unique art galleries and the remnants of its mining past. Then board the Verde Canyon Railroad, following the curves of the Verde River 20 miles through red-rock canyons rich in unusual geology, abundant wildlife, lush greenery, and Native-American ruins—all aboard lovingly restored vintage cars. Finish the day with western-themed shopping, a cowboy show, and chuck-wagon chow at Blazin’ M Ranch.
