Connor was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, but calls Minneapolis, Minnesota home today. In the past, traveling was simply a passion, but today he’s fortunate to say it’s a career that takes him all over the world. One of the most beautiful places he’s been, is referred to as “Alaska’s Friendliest Ghost Town,” Hyder, Alaska. Connor likes playing tennis in his free time.

Sean has been a tour director for well over a decade and has been with Bluebird Guided Tours for the last three seasons. He manages operations out of California and loves a good spreadsheet.

With over 30 years in travel and hospitality, Deanna brings both experience and passion to her role as a Tour Director. Known for her genuine approach and deep knowledge, she creates meaningful experiences for every traveler. Deanna believes in the power of travel to connect people to places and to each other, and she takes pride in guiding each group through their journey. Deanna is dedicated to delivering seamless and enjoyable tours for every traveler.

LORI MOORE
Tour Director
Lori has been living in the wild wonders of Alaska for over 20 years, and still gets excited every time she spots a moose or catches a glimpse of Denali on a clear day! When she’s not guiding adventures, she’s a teacher who loves turning everyday moments into learning opportunities. She is happiest with a good book in hand, hiking boots on her feet, or a passport in her pocket—always chasing the next great story to share.

KRISTEN CLAY
Tour Director
Kristen is a California native and has been a tour director for 10 years. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and love for the outdoors with her tour guests. It doesn’t matter how many times she has visited a city, park, or monument — it is always different because of the amazing people who are on her tours. “Making memories with my guests that last a lifetime is priceless. I get great joy out of seeing my guests visit a place for the first time!”

PAUL THOMPSON
Tour Director
1989 is memorable for the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill in Alaska. It was also Paul’s first summer working in Prince William Sound, Alaska. That summer of Alaska tourism enlightened him. Indeed, work can be fun! Fast forward 36 years, and Paul’s Tour Directing career has been one of sharing amazing moments with tour guests—from Asia to the Americas, from Europe to the United States. Shared laughter, smiles, and even tears of joy are daily occurrences for Paul!

STEVE SULLIVAN
Tour Director
After retiring from a long career in the High-Tech industry, Steve turned his lifelong passion for travel, history, and regional culture into a vocation. He has been fortunate to not only live abroad, but to visit all 50 States and over 50 countries on all 7 continents. Steve has learned a lot along the way and managed to overcome just about every travel problem imaginable. Now, he’s happy to have the opportunity to share his experiences and his joy for travel with others. He graduated from the International Tour Management Institute and has spent the last 9 years leading more than 150 group tours for both adults and student travelers. Although he has led tours in 30 different states, his particular focus has been on the major cities and historic sites of the northeastern United States. Steve grew up just outside New York City and now lives, with his wife, in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
