Day 1: Fly into New York City

Fly into Newark, NJ today in the evening on your own and transfer to our hotel in New York, NY. People from around the country will be flying in today to meet the group.

Day 2: New York City
We start our day in New York City—the largest city in the United States and center of the world (according to New Yorkers at least)! We’ll first go to the 9/11 Museum and Memorial then get some lunch at an authentic NYC Deli  in downtown Manhattan followed by a city tour by a local, professional guide. See everything from Rockefeller Square to Grand Central Station to Greenwich Village and much more.

Day 3: New York City
The morning begins with a cruise down the Hudson River that includes spectacular views of Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, and, New York City’s skyline. Following our narrated cruise, we will pause for lunch and at a local eatery then continue onto our Broadway Musical! Dinner is on our own tonight (our expert guides have lots of great recommendations). Savor the last few hours in the Big Apple—tomorrow we will say good-bye to New York City and head north to the New England.

Day 4: Newport, Rhode Island
We depart New York City to spend 3 days touring the historical sights of beautiful New England. Our first stop is in Newport, Rhode Island, a traditional fishing village, for a fresh seafood lunch. From here we continue to the Vanderbilt family’s luxurious Breakers Mansion to get a taste of high-society at the turn of the 19th century. We end the day at our lodging in Boston; we will spend the next two nights in the same hotel.

Day 5: Boston & JFK Library

Visit the historic John F. Kennedy Library and Museum to learn about the great life of our 35th president. Next, head to Cambridge to see where JFK went to school at the prestigious, Harvard University. We continue to Quincy Market for the end of the afternoon, for a drink and some free time before heading back to our hotel for the night.

Day 6: Lexington and Concord

This morning we see the site of the first battle site in the Revolutionary War, The Battle on the Green in Lexington, MA. Relive the first days of the American Revolution with an expert guide, who also dresses the 18th century part. From here, head north through the most amazing fall foliage the Northeast has to offer. We’ll travel through New Hampshire and Vermont as we get into our lodging this evening in picturesque Manchester, Vermont.

Day 7: Manchester, Vermont

Get to know the town of Manchester, Vermont this morning by visiting the Hildene House, the Lincoln Family Home, and former vacation home of Robert Todd Lincoln, son of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln. After lunch and some free time in downtown Manchester we’ll begin our travel west towards Syracuse where we stay for one night prior to getting into Niagara Falls.

Day 8: Niagara Falls

Travel briefly this morning into Canada to our destination of Niagara Falls. Be sure to have your passport on hand as we pass over the Canadian border for prime views of North America’s most incredible waterfall. Then it’s onto the Maid of the Mist for an awesome cruise to see this natural wonder up close! Tonight, we dine at the Skylon Tower where you can enjoy a four-course meal while overlooking the falls.

Day 9: Niagara Falls
